Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan combine TWICE as Arsenal run riot against Everton in the first half
It’s like watching Borussia Dortmund in 2015/16.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan combined beautifully to unlock Everton’s defence twice in a rampant first half at the Emirates.
Albeit with a little help from the linesman.

The Gabonese forward made a significant impact just six minutes into his Arsenal debut with a perfectly weighted ball around the corner to find the Gunners’ new No7 in space.
The Armenian midfielder took a touch before squaring to Aaron Ramsey with the Welshman making no mistake from inside the six-yard box.
Mkhitaryan notched his first assist for Arsenal but in truth it was Aubameyang’s pass that turned the Toffees defence around.

The pair were a prolific partnership at Dortmund and if their reunion is anything to go by, the Gunners look to have had a decent January in terms of recruitment.
It was a Saturday afternoon to enjoy for the season ticket holders at the Emirates.
Laurent Koscielny stooped low to head home from a corner before Ramsey’s long-range effort took two deflections en route to goal as Everton folded without much resistance.
Arsene Wenger’s troops were 3-0 up after just 19 minutes.

Then came the magic moment… Mkhitaryan assist, Aubameyang goal.
Arsenal were helped out for their fourth goal by a generous bit of officiating from the linesman who kept his flag down when the Gunners’ record-signing was clearly offside.

It shouldn’t have counted, but Arsenal fans won’t care.
Their new double-act have picked up right where they left off — a debut goal for Aubameyang and two assists for Mkhitarayan.
Who needs that dog-loving, possession-losing Chilean bloke anyway?
UPDATE: A hat-trick of assists at full-time for Mkhitarayan and a first career hat-trick for Aaron Ramsey — good day at the office for the Gunners.
