FIFA 18: EA Sports tell us why they put Joe Hart in the England squad on the World Cup mode
EA Sports has vowed to update all the squads in the World Cup mode, after a barrage of complaints from FIFA fans shortly after launch.
It didn’t take long for gamers to spot that most squads in the free World Cup update were out of date – and they soon voiced their frustration at the EA Sports Twitter handle.
Argentina only has 15 correct players in the update, while – amazingly, England’s squad includes the likes of Joe Hart and Jack Wilshere who didn’t even make Gareth Southgate’s stand-by list.
However, speaking to Dream Team, Andrei Lazarescu – the senior producer on the World Cup Update – has vowed to put things right.
It is still debated whether Joe Hart should be England’s No1News Group Newspapers Ltd“All the squads we have in the game now are based on the qualifiers” he said.
“These will still change before June 14th and we will provide a regular roster update throughout the tournament.”

Available as a free download, the FIFA 18 World Cup expansion features all teams in the tournament, as well as all the stadiums.
