Fantasy football tips: Kevin De Bruyne or Paul Pogba – who should I pick for the Premier League season?
Fantasy football is all about key decisions.
Kevin De Bruyne’s mercurial talent has been unleashed on the Premier League under Pep Guardiola’s system while Paul Pogba returns to Man United this season as one of the best performers in France’s World Cup winning side.
Will Jose Mourinho finally allow Pogba to flourish in the Red Devils’ midfielder? Can KDB continue to produce the displays we saw last season? Read on to find out who you should select for your Dream Team this season.
Fred – £2.5m
Brazilian is known for his consistent performances in Ukraine.
Paul Pogba – £5m
World Cup winner set to improve on last season’s 135 points tally.
The Ginger Prince was by far and away the best midfielder in the league last season, orchestrating every Man City attack and painting beautiful pictures with his right boot.
Meanwhile Pogba struggled to dominate games in the way United fans want him to, however with a World Cup winners medal to his name he may be able to perform to the level we saw at Juventus.
De Bruyne comes in slightly pricier at £6.5m to Pogba’s £5m but there is also the factor that every man and his dog will be selecting the Belgian.
Like I said, it’s all about decisions.

De Bruyne is the most expensive midfielder on Dream Team for a reason.
Working with Pep Guardiola has seen the Belgian maestro step his game up a few gears to become Man City’s most influential player.
His 18 assists in all competitions last season was unrivalled across Europe and he was at his brilliant best at the World Cup too.
If City are going to defend their title they’ll need De Bruyne firing on all cylinders – and you’ll probably need him to taste Dream Team success too.

Pogba endured a fairly frustrating campaign with Manchester United last season as question marks continued about his best position.
But at the World Cup he let his feet do the talking with several hugely impressive and mature performances, including a goal in the final as France beat Croatia.
We expect him to take that momentum into the new season and hit the ground running as United’s main man.
At £5m he’s a cheap option compared to some of his midfield rivals and his ability to dominate games makes him a Star Man favourite too.
