FIFA 18: EA Sports is about to give you a load of free Ultimate Team packs
FIFA Ultimate Team turns nine this month – and to mark the special occasion, EA Sports will be running a FUT Birthday campaign.
Kicking off today (March 16) it will see a host of new SBCs, kits and upgraded players arrive to the game. In fact, one of the kits looks to have been leaked here.

Interestingly, it was the PlayStation Europe Twitter account that broke the news – not EA, sparking rumours that PS4 players could be in for exclusive rewards.
So, what can we expect this year?
FUT Birthday Squad
Every year a FUT Birthday Squad is announced. This will feature 23 current players who were fan favorites in previous versions.
Each FUT Birthday Squad member will have upgraded ratings reminiscent of their past FUT item and a brand-new item type.
FUT turns 9 this year
Brand New Premium SBCs
For the second year in a row SBC Premium Items will likely available.
These will likely be released as individual SBCs and will be even more upgraded than their FUT Birthday Squad version.
Daily Birthday SBCs
Playing FUT every day could be very rewarding during FUT Birthday.
In addition to the regular rewards you get for completing the SBC, you will become eligible for tiered rewards if you complete three or more Daily Birthday SBCs.

The more Daily Birthday SBCs you complete, the higher your reward. Here’s what last year’s looked like:
Exactly 3 Daily Birthday SBCs completed – Mega Pack Exactly 4 Daily Birthday SBCs completed – Prime Player Pack Exactly 5 Daily Birthday SBCs completed – Rare Players Pack Exactly 6 Daily Birthday SBCs completed – Rare Mega Pack Exactly 7 Daily Birthday SBCs completed – Jumbo Rare Players Pack Exactly 8 Daily Birthday SBCs completed – Ultimate PackCompleting three or more of these SBCs will also reward you with a unique SBC Kit.
